Global and mainland BigModel accounts have different per-model daily trial grants. The global trial covers GLM-5.3 and GLM-5-Turbo; BigModel covers GLM-5.3 and GLM-5.3-Flash in separate buckets. Both end after the first five days and do not create ongoing daily access. Afterwards the app needs a GLM Coding Plan or your own API key; the application itself remains free.
Not offered in Cuba, Iran or North Korea, under comprehensive US embargo, and in no other country the vendor names (source, read 2026-09-26). In the vendor’s words: “You confirm that you are not located in the following regions: Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Crimea, Donetsk, or Zaporizhzhia”.
What you send is not used to train models. In the vendor’s words: “The Optimization Program is turned off by default. Before you actively opt in, we will not use your input information, generated content, or product usage data for product or model training and optimization.” (source).
